Good news — shipping has officially started in the United States for both the Keeper Kits and TSF2e hardcover books! A bunch of backers have already received their rewards.
If you are in the USA and don’t have yours by the end of the first week of July, please reach out to us.
As for our backers in Australia and the EU/UK — Keeper Kit shipping hasn't kicked off just yet, but we’re expecting things to get moving within the next week. We’ll keep you posted in our next update.
To celebrate Sutra of Pale Leaves, we’re putting on a one-day con in Nagoya! Michael O’Brien, VP of Chaosium, will be there for a signing event — come hang out if you’re nearby!
Next Up: Post-Apocalyptic Western in 1860s China
We’re already working on our next big project: a gritty, supernatural Western campaign set in 1860s China, using the Down Darker Trails framework. We’ll share sneak peeks and some free content with you over the next few weeks.

We’re happy to report that book-only rewards have already shipped to backers in the UK, Australia, and Canada. Shipping for book-only rewards in the United States is expected to begin this week.
Book + Keeper’s Kit rewards will begin shipping this week in Canada. The Keeper’s Kits are expected to arrive in the US this week and will begin shipping shortly after. For backers in the UK and EU, Keeper’s Kits are expected to arrive and begin shipping by mid-June.
The layout for the Additions Book is complete and has been approved by DriveThruRPG!
The 226-page companion volume features the new scenarios, plus most of the revised introduction material, updated from the first edition.
Within the next two days, we’ll be sending out at-cost Print-on-Demand coupons via DTRPG.

Dear Backers,
We want to provide you with a transparent update regarding the delivery of our books and Keeper kits. While we are thrilled with the prospect of completing fulfillment, we are also navigating the recent implementation of U.S. tariffs.
These new tariffs have introduced both financial strain and significant uncertainty to our project. As a small publisher, the additional costs are substantial—so much so that we are now unlikely to break even. Frankly, we are emotionally devastated by this turn of events. However, our commitment to you remains steadfast: we will deliver the books and kits you backed.
Here's where we currently stand:
All books and Keeper kits have been printed and are now in transit to our global fulfillment centers.
Shipments of books are expected to arrive in the United States in the coming weeks. Books have already arrived at our EU/UK, Canadian, and Australian centers; we hope to begin shipping book-only orders this week in these regions. Keepers Kit's are 1 to 2 months away.
We are actively navigating the complex and evolving tariff situation affecting the import of our reward items into the U.S., this may result in delays.
Despite the hurdles, our top priority is you—our backers. We are doing everything we can to ensure that everyone receives what they pledged for, and we are exploring options to fairly manage the increased costs without compromising on quality or integrity.

The Sassoon Files 2nd Edition Books have arrived at our fulfillment centers in Australia, Canada, and England. However, they have not yet arrived in the United States. The Keeper Kits are shipping out to the distribution centers this week. We will start shipping very soon.
The Cultist-level reward will be issued and available later this month.
We are now issuing DTRPG coupons for The Blessed and the Blasphemous and Journal d’Indochine Volume PDFs. If you ordered these add-ons, please check your emails. We will ship physical add-on books together with The Sassoon Files 2e books.
Three weeks ago, we updated the PDF and reissued all DTRPG coupons. If you did not receive the PDF, please contact us.
We look forward to attending ChaosiumCon Ann Arbor (April 10-13). Please let us know if you’ll be there; we would love to meet up!

Our print run for the books will be finished this week. Once it is done, we will send out the books to our fulfillment partners in Europe, the United States, Australia, and Canada. Thank you all for your support and patience. The project is almost complete!
The Keeper’s Kit is going into production this week and we expect that to be finished in three weeks.
We’ve issued BackerKit surveys, which are staggered over 3 days. Please fill them out as soon as you can.
Kickstarter pledge upgrades are possible in BackerKit. Digital and POD level Backers (Communist Agitators and Cultists) that want an offset printed hardcover book should choose the survey add-on called “Hardcover Upgrade.”
We will create the DTRPG Print-on-Demand version for the Cultists level Backers within the next few weeks so that the Backers may receive the POD copy at the same time the book ships out.
We have uploaded the final PDF edition of The Sassoon Files, 2nd Edition. We have also uploaded the handouts package PDF and interactive character sheets.
We are sending out new coupons to all Backers today so that Backers who didn’t get the first emailed coupon will get a new coupon. If you already downloaded the PDF, you will receive an email notification that the files have been updated. PLEASE check your email spam/junk folders if you do not receive the coupon. If you still do not receive the coupons, please write to us and include your Kickstarter account username, the email you have registered on Kickstarter, and an alternate email address if you can.
In the near future, I will update the account with information about the Sutra of Pale Leaves, our plans to attend ChaosiumCon and GenCon this year, and our next project, codenamed “Chaofan”, a Call of Cthulhu wuxia pulp campaign set in 1860 China.
